Question: What are the minimum system requirements for hCare Access?

  • Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Windows XP (32-bit and 64-bit)
For full functionality on Windows XP, .NET 2.0 SP 1 - 3.5 is required.
Supported Browsers:
  • Internet Explorer Version 6.0 - 11
  • Mozilla Firefox Version 1.0 - 3.0+
  • Google Chrome Version 9.0+

Question: Why does my workstation only display in Full-Screen Mode?

Answer: hCare Access requires your PC to have Microsoft .Net 3.5 Framework installed. Please consult with your IT Representative and install the following on your PC:

Question: What is the Single Sign-On Toolbar for?

Answer: Your Single Sign-On Toolbar is designed to simplify the log-in process by programming your password information. After the initial set-up, your Single Sign-On Toolbar will automatically sign you in.

Question: Do physicians have access to UpToDate within hCare Access?

Answer: Yes. Physicians can access UpToDate by clicking on the icon located on the desktop of your hCare Access Workstation.
